Savage Orcs

Has anyone heard any rumors about savages orcs in their new army book?  I noticed none of the rumors have mentioned savage orcs, and none of the special characters are savages either.  I'd be sad if they brought back the forest goblins (spider riders) and cut the savages.

I haven't heard that they were absent. That would suck if they were. I liked them better back when they were skirmishers, or make them light infantry like the beastmen. What I really wish for is plasic savage orcs but I know that won't happen...

I'd be thrilled with plastic savage orcs.  Anything would be better than a nearly single pose $40 for 10 box set that we have now.  Does any other army have a $40 for 60 point core unit?  They may just be the worst money to point core unit in the game.

Then again, if the rumor that choppas allow a hand weapon shield bonus, normal orcs with shields are a good deal at 6 points (4+ save in hand to hand); and normal orc big uns are a great deal at 8 points (WS4 S4 T4 4+ save in hand to hand).  And if choppas don't allow a hand weapon and shield bonus, that's ok too, I have plenty of night goblins and fanatics...

I do believe that they get the bonus which is cool.

plastic savage orcs would be great for madboyz as well for Feral orks in 40k...

ive made some savage orcs with just the regular box set and a file... you basically just start hacking away at the metal they look pretty decent
