I've lost my older version 2.whatever army builder and my current 3.x isn't being supported any more.
I'd rather buy an older V2, than get roped into the new pay us every year plan.

Anyone know where I can buy a version 2?

My V2 disk got broken.  I stupidly paid to update V3, only to find out that is unecessary.  If you follow the Expired Update tab directions, it sends you the Lne Wolf site (via the Help tab), and you can get updates for free that way.  I believe these are the latests updates  (with the usual time lag after a codex comes out).

Correct.
If you have V3, just go to the web page http://www.wolflair.com/ click on Army Builder, then click Downloads, then scroll down till you get to "Supplemental Downloads" (data files). Just download whatever data files you want for whatever games you want.

The newer Fantasy data files are written for V3.3

I updated my army builder from v2 to v3.0, then v3.1 and finally v3.2.  The update from 3.2 to 3.3 is no longer free.  So, I'm stuck with a version of army builder that won't run the data files for version 2.2 (which has good support), and I can't update to version 3.3 for free.
Version 3.3 now costs you each year to update it.

I have yet to see any benefit from any of these additions, and I'm not going to be paying a yearly fee to use an update that isn't as well supported by the data files that are being produced.
