KingdomCon in April. Has anyone heard of this thing?

I stumbled across this and it looks like there is a game convention coming up in San Diego.

There isn't a whole lot of information on the web site. Has anything heard anything about this or what events will be held?

I think Ross at GE is heavily involved with this.

I think CKK has been in contact with them and they asked us to run an event.  I think the discussion was to do a Apoc game or megabattle of some sort.  If it goes well, we may end up running RTTs there or a GT.

Other than that I do not know anything about it.

Who is Ross and what nights does he work at GE?  There is no email contact for the organizers on their page.  We may contact him as a club and see what we can do to participate.

Ross here.

There actually is a email contact on the page, but I can see how it would be confusing. We are planning on having a ballroom for Warhammer 40k and Fantasy. The schedule is still being put together, but its looking like the Fantasy event will be on Sunday, and 40k on Saturday. The con is going to be open for a full 55-hours of play, so if you guys would like to help out and run a fun that is something that we can definetly do. I have terrain as well, not alot, but I am still building as the con comes closer.

We are also going to do a painting compettion, prizes for that to be posted up soon.

I am sorry that the website is confusing. Kingdom-Con is going to be from April 16-18th. $35 to get in, but plenty of prizes and play time to get in.
