In actual practice, people with basic deductive reasoning skills can figure out the scores anyhow, which is how the Game Empire guys got found out at the Orc Con events, despite threatening to kick people who discussed their scores.

I don't remember Quentin playing at either BSB. It seems that whatever beef he's got with the "Game Empire" boys, he just can't refrain from talking about it.
edit: I spent some time thinking about this and he must be referring to the pre-PacMad tournaments.

The thing is, there's something I witnessed go down between two of the "LA Guys" at Games Day 08 that has made me disinclined to participate in any event that they run. In a nut shell, while waiting in line to get something to eat, I overheard the eventual winner of the RTT asking one of the judges for what to expect against his third round opponent.
