Jason asked me to post this for you, Greg.
Ah, that's so sweet! I miss you guys too. I'll give some great cannon lovin' when I get there. But which Jason sent it? Both? Sorry, guys, I don't double hug and you won't get me in a "Jason Sandwich". Looks like Lee's Treekin make good walls. With all the leftover wood, did you upgrade your kitchen (matching wood cabinets and dining room set)? That's essential for raising the value of your fortress...

Hey everyone,
Heads up - there is a WH40K RTT this Saturday so Game Empire will probably be packed. I am thinking of going & representing our game style, sportsmanship & approach to having fun & being competitive while not being complete A-holes. Anyone interested?

I am all for having a day off. I have been wanting to play 40k for a while anyway. I have never really liked RTTs. I do hope you do really well Brian and show them that you can have good sportsmanship and still play well and have fun. I hope you win something for your army because it looks great.
Maybe some of the guys who are not playing in the RTT could come to my house on Saturday and play 40k.

Thanks Joel I 'm not saying that I am for sure playing in the RTT, just that I am thinking about it, and it would be a lot more fun if guys played in it too. If we all want still play WHFB at Joel's or wherever, then I can do that too. I just wanted to bounce the idea off of you guys. What do you think?

I agree the RTT would be more fun if we all played in it. Unfortunetly I just don't like RTTs very much. I was thinking about playing 40k at my house not fantasy. That way we can have a break from Fantasy. I have 2 tables at my house, Jason Wilson and Lee both said they can come, unfortunetly Jason N. already has plans.
I would like to get at least one more person since we have 2 tables. Everybody from the campaign is welcome. So Byron, Bryan, Chris, Kurt if you guys want to play 40k come on over.

The Eastern Empire Pirates will be entering local waters on the 27th, meaning I'll be invading on the 1st. Cannon love on order! Shoot me a PM if you want to bribe my first move!

RTT update -Sat.10/25 Hey all, just wanted to let you know that you were missed at the RTT. It was a lot smaller than I expected (which means chances of winning stuff goes up). It was fun and I lost once to Eldar and tied against DA and Sisters. But the real reason for the post is this - I won best painted/appearance! Cool! Plus it came with $55 store credit, which was way more than I expected. I know there is mixed opinion on RTTs and such. My thinking is that the more of us that play in them, more the chance we will be playing each other and setting the tone for sportsmanship and what not. Plus this - we all have good looking armies that are well painted and you guys rock on conversions and creativity & kick-ass painting, plus good gaming. Chances are really good for recognition/prizes for such if more of us played in RTTs. My experience today with powergaming & attitude - really not that bad. I was a little annoyed at few things here and there, but it was no big deal. I had fun. Going into the first two turns of each game, I thought I was going to lose. I ended up with ties and one loss. My best game/most fun was the last one pulling a tie. Anyways, enough of me blabbing on... Unfortunately I am going to miss the WFB game next Sat. The wife & I are getting out of town for the weekend. I'll miss Greg the Pirate's return to rape & pillage the warhex fantsy world.

My pirates will rape the horses and ride off on the women! Too bad you won't be there to see it! Congrats, Bryan. Sounds like a good experience and you got to walk away with some fine recognition (and $$). Good job!

Nice Job Bryan, I knew you would win. Now you can get the space marine codex and maybe some other little goodies.
