27th.... I can probably make it, but the next 4 Saturdays after that, I'll be in Italy. I might just show up on the 27th, see how things go, then join you guys in November (if that's ok).

Kurt play dwarves because they are cool. I don't have a choice I only have High Elves. I think Lee will bring Wood Elves.

This noob is trying out either Wade's Lizardmen or Jason's Bretonnians (which can be run as an Empire list? if people don't want Bretonnians). I have one fantasy game under my belt so far, so you all will have to be patient!

Bryan, you are better off running as Empire or Lizardmen. Both of those are more standard armies. Bretonnians just break too many of the basic rules of the game. |

I disagree. It's not that he needs a strong army to start with. If he's relatively new, and has yet to perfect the basic rules, the last thing he needs is an army that breaks the rules.

I guess I don't see why they are so bad, I have only played Jason Wilson's Brets and they seemed fine. I even beat them using the old High Elf codex. I also hear Vampire Counts are broken. Somebody explain to me what the difference is.
