Hey guys i will be there sat, though I am not sure which chaos god I will be worshipping.As most, if not all our missions will be objective based as usual I am leaning towards an all mobile nurgle list, because if your army cannot move they are dead, not that my army does not like the taste of gaurdsmen but variety is the spice of life. Speaking along those same lines I must admit my last megabattle with lee, and turtle boy was not very fulfilling. Deployment was not an issue for me, and the objectives were simple enough, i just lost interest after I assaulted some death korp squads, subsequently killed them with a few berzerkers,then consolidated to the next squad,and the squad being assaulted was just taken off the table,no combat,no morale cks,just removed,not once but three times.I have heard of throwing in the towel, but six turns is six turns, complete turns.Now I have been informed that emotions cannot be conveyed in these posts, so know that I am not picking on anyone, I have no ruffled feathers, I actually lost the battle thanks to joels flyby, and his endless armoured rows of tanks.I just think that if we are winning, or losing, defeated, or excited we should still play for the fun of the game. There is nothing personal in any of our tactics, or the people we choose to play against.I for instance cannot stand over a hundred choppas coming at my fifty or so marines at twenty four inches no less, but I still will take the challenge, and play at my best because I want my opponent to have fun, and resect me as a player, and a person with integrity, so win, or lose we both can shake hands after the battle, and say AWESOME GAME, that was fun, thank you.Also one more little tidbit,when we are playing a battle the only time we should leave the game table is to take a piss, or to get something to eat, or drink.I literally lost my voice shouting for one of my opponents to return to the table for his turn, or to make saves. These games can last for hours, and any needless delays just sucks the momentum out of it.Stay focused, plan two to three turns ahead,plan for things to go wrong, as wel as the way you wanted, and act accordingly, adapt,overcome,improvise! These are textbook tactics, plan for everything, be on the offensive, use diversion, sacrifice a squad or two, just remember the objectives, that will win the game for anyone.Wow I sound like a drill instructor, sorry I take my playing style very seriosly, anyways I digress. The point is play your game the best you can no matter what the odds, I have been spanked because i have lost focus, or gotten bummed because i was losing, it happens, just remember its only a game.Soooooooooo I think I will shut up now, my posts are usually big,I dont post often, but man when I do its a always a fricken novel.So yes I will be there sat,bring your A games because I need a victory after jay "pulped" my army last battle,at my house even! Oh on that note I HATE STOMPAS!!!! P.S. chaos rules?
