I wouldn't say we are totally done testing.  As you see in the previous posts, we've made changes- both with flyers and table setup.  We should at least play out one more battle to test both of those.

However, I don't think this weekend will be a good choice unless the opportunity presents itself.  Many people have evacuated, and may not have a home to come home to.  We don't even know if GE will be open, and we don't know if they are still going to have their RTT.  Our option at that point would probably be Joel's place, but I haven't heard from him.  Has he evacuated?

I myself may have to work this weekend (Miramar's been particpating quite a bit with the aircraft firefighting effort and now the President is coming in too).  But also my home is up at Pendleton, which is a raging inferno right now.  Truth be told, I don't know if I can go anywhere this weekend, but that shouldn't stop some available people from playtesting one more time.

What we need to playtest specifically is a Titan with the suped-up weapons, the new flyer changes, and the table setup.

Joel's okay.  He's got family staying with him.

I'm in the same boat with family staying with us.  My wife's family were in Ramona and Escondido.  Our friends from Eastlake were here a bit too.

I know Byron's okay.  Recovering from a cold.

We're crowded here, but the door is open.  North Park is clear skies and there's an Albertson's with a fairly large parking lot and they've been very understanding concerning extra cars and motorhomes.

Best of luck to all of us.

I have people and animals staying here, and I don't know how long so I will have to postpone the playtesting.  I think maybe we can playtest at game empire.  I don't know if the RTT will have that many people.

Oh, just so you all know, I will most likely run my Orks next campaign, and someone is going to get some Stompa love at the klaws of "Nut Cracka", and his buddy, the yet unnamed Skullhamma I plan on kitbashing.  Once this disaster sorts itself out, I  have plans to make a Skullhamma.

In other news, El Presidente landed.  Shook hands with "The Running Man" and a few others, then took off.  We'll see what comes out of all this...

Anyway, I sure hope everyone made it through this disaster just fine.

I might be able to get away this Saturday for a megabattle, but don't know where.  I guess one of us could call GE to see if they are still holding their RTT.  If so, then we need another location.

I'm back from OC.  Everything is cool-beans.

I just called Cliff, and he said that he believes the RTT is still a go.  So there you have it.

Well, does anyone have any suggestions about where to go?

Or should we even bother trying to have a megabattle?  I'm sure a number of people might have higher priority issues to take care of.

EDIT:  Another lesson learned regarding flyers-  if a flyer shoots its guns at a non-flyer vehicle, then regardless of facing, the shots always hit the side armor (represents hitting the target on its top armor).
