So many people flew to all parts of this map today that I'm suffering from jet lag...  Tongue

What's our vector, Victor?  Grin

So, with all that traveling, did anyone at least join the Mile-High Club?

I still can't believe NO ONE went for the unguarded NUCLEAR SILO!  Shocked Shocked Shocked

No, because the territory was empty.  To gain a rank, you have to take someone's territory away.

I feel your pain, brother....  I have yet to gain a single rank.  I'm either always defending or fighting over an empty territory...  Cry

Sorry guys.

I had to adjust the rank rules from previous campaigns in order to reign 'em in a bit since rank now counts for points and priority order in battles.

The new rank system is designed to encourage players to engage occupied territories and should really help raid-players who "just want to fight everybody" since they'll gain an extra point each time they fly in and take one of your spots. Grin

Still, that was a great win against the Geckos.  Closest "Split Happens" so far.  You know it's close when ya gotta use the "special close combat rule."  ::Salamander Terminator sniffs::
